About Us
I started making my own products several years ago because I was tired of purchasing products with all the bad ingredients in them. I wanted to be able to control what I put on my skin. My thought process is, “if you wouldn’t eat it, why would you put it on your skin?”
I love making all of my products but have to be honest and say that the soaps are definitely my passion! I make Cold Process soap (CP), where oils and butters are melted and then a lye/water solution is added to the mixture. The mixture goes through a saponification process and the end result is soap! I have also recently started dabbling with Glycerin soap which I am enjoying but have to say it is way more labour intensive than I imagined but worth it in the end.
