Hi! My name is Carolyn and I love to craft! I started making soap just for fun and to satisfy my urge to craft lavish gifts for family and friends. I thought everyone would love getting a nice luxurious bar of soap and guess what? They did!
My daughter started encouraging me and Lavish Luxuries was born! The other thing that made my decision easier was the wonderful change in my skin from using the soap! My daughter noticed the change to her skin as well. My husband and son won't use anything else. My friends love it! I even made soap to wash my dog with! My soap has been tested on my loved ones with positive results! So here I am with a web store and I am hoping you will love it too!

Have you ever noticed the labels on your favorite store bought soaps? I encourage you to do so. Most of them are not called soap. They are named Moisturizing Bar, or Beauty Bar, or Deodorizing Bar. It has to be soap before it can be called soap. Check it out the next time you go shopping! It is an eye-opener!

Goat milk soap is my favorite! This is the reason: Cleopatra was known to have beautiful skin. Her secret was that she soaked in baths of fresh milk. During my research, I found that goat's milk has a ph level similar to that of our own skin. Also, it has lactic acid which is an alpha hydroxy acid. This is a natural exfoliant element that dissolves the glue that holds dead skin cells together. Milk can clean skin down to its deepest layers. Goat milk also has high amounts of protein, fat, iron, vitamins C, D, B and A.

Shea Butter is believed to have many benefits. Shea butter has the presence of fatty acids, vitamins A, E and F. Shea butter penetrates the skin easily and does not clog the pores. It is tolerated well by those with very sensitive skin. It has been used for anti-aging products, sunscreens, lotions, soaps, stretch marks, chapped skin and lips. It is mind boggling at the products available with shea butter in them. Shea butter soap produces a soft, creamy lather.
*Shea Butter contains natural latex and it is essential that persons suffering from latex allergies should test any shea butter product before using it.

Glycerin is a clear liquid that absorbs water from the air. It is a humectant, drawing moisture to your skin. It is a natural byproduct of soap. It is actually present in the fat used to make soap. It is a great moisturizer and is extracted from soap commercially to be used in many other products such as cosmetics, lubricants, cake and candy making and even nitroglycerin to name a few. It is wonderful in soap and clear glycerin soap is wonderful to use. It doesn't leave a residue on your skin or the tub. It is gentle and wonderful to shave with. The lather is soft and silky.

Store Policies
It is very important to me that you enjoy Lavish Luxuries products. It is my goal to make you one of my regular customers. That is why I take pride in each batch of soap and bath product that I make. However, each batch is unique. Exact size, shape and pattern may vary from batch to batch.
Ordering: There is no minimum order. However, to be cost effective I recommend you order more than one item due to shipping cost. A couple of my customers order together and share shipping costs.
Once order is received and payment clears, order will ship within 48 hours giving allowance for holidays and weekends.
Payment: I prefer payment be made through PayPal. You don't have to be a member of PayPal to use your credit or debit card of choice. Your card info goes through their secure server and I don't even see it. It is the most convenient and secure way to pay online. I will accept checks or money orders but shipping will be delayed until payment clears, 7-10 days. Bounced Check fee: $30.
Return Policy
Due to the nature of handmade soaps, body butters and bath products, all sales are final. However, if there is a problem with your order due to a packing error or similar situation I will do my best to make it right. If your package arrives damaged, Please do not accept it and contact me immediately. 24 hours after your package has been delivered, your order will be considered accurate.
Shipping Information
I ship with USPS in the USA only using Priority flat rate packaging. I do not provide overnight. Each package is insured and tracked. It takes 2-7 days usually averaging around 3 days. There will be no shipping or handling charges if you live locally and want to pick it up. Contact me via email if you live locally and would like to arrange a pick up. Ohio residents will be charged sales tax at 7.75%
Custom Order Policy
Please email me for a custom order! I do have different scents available. For example: Frankincense and Myyrh.
I will also make unscented soaps for those who prefer no scent. I will add ingredients for you. Some of those are: *Cornmeal for gardeners. *Coffee... Please research the many benefits to using coffee on your skin. *Oatmeal is another one! I can make Lemon *Poppyseed or Orange Poppyseed. Or maybe you have something you prefer that you don't see like Bergamot/Coriander or Rosemary/Peppermint. Contact me and I will try to accomodate your wishes.
