Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics
Also known as "handmade soap" or "homemade soap", handcrafted soap is a blend of both science and art. Handcrafted soap comes in a wide array of colors, scents, shapes, sizes and formulations. It can be playful and fun or designed for serious skin care. We estimated there are at least 200,000 artisans making handcrafted soap and cosmetics, so whatever your needs, chances are one of them is making the handcrafted soap or cosmetic that is perfect for you.
The Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild is a not-for-profit trade association representing, supporting and defending the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry. We are supported by membership dues; membership is open to anyone who makes handcrafted soap and/or cosmetics, who provides products or services to the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry or who private labels handcrafted soap or cosmetics.
In addition to providing the revenue to support the association, membership comes with a wide variety of benefits to assist members in their businesses.

Every year the HSCG hosts a Annual Conference for members of the HSCG and non-members. It runs for and amazing three days, filled with sessions by speakers expert in their fields, demonstrations and workshops, Soapers' Showcase, optional Certification testing (for members only), special events and parties, exhibitors and lots of time to network with other soap and cosmetic makers to "talk shop" to your heart's content.
The location of the Conference changes yearly in order to make it more accessible to more people. The 2018 Conference will run from May 3, 2018 to May 5, 2018 and will be held at the Westin Peachtree in Atlanta, Georgia.
